privacy policy
last updated: 2026-07-29
this policy explains what lathecreate (lathecreate.com) collects, how it's used, and what control you have over it. lathecreate is part of the manymoats family of products and this policy is written to be honest and clear about what we collect and why.
1. what we collect
- account information : your email address, login credentials, and artist/profile details you provide when you create an account.
- usage & telemetry : activity data such as reports generated, features used, and competitor scans run, so we can operate and improve the product.
- payment information : handled entirely by Stripe. we never see or store your card number; we receive only what's needed to manage your subscription (plan, status, billing history).
- music & profile data you submit : track metadata, release information, and audience/competitor data you provide for analysis. we do not resell this data.
2. how we use it
we use collected data to run the service, generate the growth reports and insights you request, provide support, improve features, and communicate important account or billing notices. we do not sell your data.
3. cookies & local storage
lathecreate uses cookies and browser local storage for functionality, keeping you signed in, remembering preferences, and basic session handling. some things, like your preferences and session, stay in your browser; the data we do collect to run and improve the product is listed above, and we're upfront about all of it.
4. sharing
we share data only with the service providers needed to run lathecreate (for example, hosting and payment processing), and only to the extent needed for them to perform that function. we do not sell your personal information to third parties.
5. your rights
you can export or erase from Account → Your data when signed in, or ask us by emailing support@manymoats.com. we'll respond and handle the request directly.
6. data retention
we keep account, release, and usage data for as long as your account is active, plus a reasonable period afterward to handle disputes, comply with legal obligations, or as described in our refund & cancellation policy. you can request earlier deletion at any time, subject to any obligations tied to an active Dev Deal or ongoing sync licensing.
Product usage counting (Loop)
We load a small first-party script on this site that records basic product-usage events (which surface you used, which action, and when, plus a random device identifier in your browser storage). Events are sent to our servers and may be associated with your account if you are signed in. They do not include document text, prompts, or clipboard contents. Sync is on by default; if your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control, we treat counting as off unless you later choose otherwise. We do not use third-party advertising analytics (no gtag / pixels).
Service providers (subprocessors)
We share data only with providers needed to run the services, under agreements that limit their use of it:
- Stripe : payment processing (we never see full card numbers).
- Supabase : authentication and data storage.
- Google Cloud / Firebase : hosting and backend infrastructure.
- OpenRouter / model hosts : AI features you explicitly request.
- fal.ai : image/video generation you explicitly request.
- Resend : transactional email when the product sends mail.
Access, export, and delete
When signed in, use Account → Your data to export a JSON package or request account erase. Erase is honest about partial stages (billing receipts may be retained for legal duty; biometric weights are purged when that path is fully wired). You can also email privacy@manymoats.com or support@manymoats.com.
7. children
lathecreate is not directed to children and is intended for use by artists 18 and older, or the age of majority where they live; we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
8. security
we use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.
9. changes to this policy
we may update this policy from time to time. material changes will be posted here with a new "last updated" date.
10. contact
